Shooter copycat - Missouri WalMart, No shots fired, Perp in custody
#1
CNN

“Officers responded to a call of an active shooter at the Walmart Neighborhood Market, Police Lt. Mike Lucas said.

But no shots were fired and no one was injured, police said.

"All we know is the fact that he walked in here heavily armed with body armor on, in military fatigues and caused a great amount of panic inside the store. So he certainly had the capability the potential to harm people," Lucas said.”

That’s how I plan to be equipped next time I shop at Walmart.

It is probably legal in Missouri for him to be suited up and armed up the way he was (unless he is an ex-con).

Yup. The gunner in Texas was legal right up until he pulled the trigger.

So this was essentially a cosplay event for him, or just apprehended very quickly?

The man was pushing a cart and recording himself walking through the store with a cell phone when the manager pulled the fire alarm to notify customers to escape,

The guy was simply exercising his God-given right (in Missouri, God gives different rights in different states) to be armed to the teeth while shopping. The cops will end up apologizing for arresting him.

Seems like they don’t know what to do with him yet. The claims of him causing chaos amount to a charge of disturbing the peace. If his video and related interviews indicate menacing behavior the charge gets upped. Wouldn’t be surprised if everything he said to everyone was nice and cordial, to “prove” he’s a good guy.
