Did you (pre) order the new iPhone 11?
#11
Ordered mine, not worried about lack of SD expansion. I've embraced the cloud, but I still have a server at home that keeps a copy of cloud files and does backup/archives.

I think this will be a good iPhone, perhaps the last that uses lightning.

Used AmEx to get extra warranty protection rather than 3% back.

Isn't the SD slot discussion dead by now? It's only been 12 years.

No. It's been one reason I get Androids.

Sounds like you're off iPhones. Many of of us still find value there.

I prefer a phone that isn't essentially a surveillance device for Google, but that's just me.

We might wait for BOGO and order 2.

I love my SE, but with no suitable replacement, its starting to show its age with some things. Maybe an X since its slightly smaller.

My entire business, well, lively hood, depends on the cloud (dropbox). Without it, I wouldnt have a job.

My thoughts exactly.
That's what we did last year with 2 Xrs.
If a buy one get one deal comes up with Verizon, we'll replace an 8 and 8 Plus.

I like the functionality of the 11 Pro, and it's the smallest of the lot.

Maybe when my SE dies.

Nope. Still hanging on with my 6S+ that's working great even without the battery swap program from last year.

Heck, I kept my last iPhone, 3GS, for like seven years before upgrading.

While the new phones are compelling, I'll stick to my 6S+ until it dies.

Nope. We upgraded last year - Wife has an XS Max and I have an XR. My son has an 8+ and daughter a 7+. My parents have our hand-me-down 7 and 6. I think they were hoping we'd upgrade, so they could get newer models.

FWIW, here are the deals -- from https://kinjadeals.theinventory.com/here...treamshare

Here’s what each store is offering:

AT&T is offering a BOGO promotion, where if you pre-order an eligible iPhone, you can pick up a second for free. (Just a heads up, you’ll find the details under the “special offers” link in the product page.)

Apple, Best Buy and T-Mobile offer a maximum $550 discount with an eligible trade-in, while Verizon’s offer tops out at $500. Sprint will deduct the value of your trade-in from each installment payment via their Sprint Flex lease. Only certain phones are eligible for the maximum trade-in value and other phones will get you smaller discounts, just as long as they’re made by Apple, Samsung, Google and LG.

Sam’s Club will send you a $200 gift card with your pre-order and activation.

Walmart keeps it simple by offering $100 off the purchase and activation of an iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro. This offer only works with an installment plan, but luckily, there’s no penalty if you choose to pay it off early.
