The vast majority of models try to keep the dimensions of the interior floor a square so round plates will fit both depth and width. To get something with a shorter depth means looking for 0.5 cuft (12 to 15 liters) or smaller. You might find some success if you are willing to triple your price range and/or buy from overseas (amazon korea?).
Maybe accept putting it in a different location, or modifying the wall behind where you want it.

Not dog in this fight, as I'm still looking for a replacement for my dead 1974 Litton tank.
I have a 22" space to work with.
But that LG that rj mentioned seems limited to an 8" plate, if that's a consideration.
I like the look of a 9" plate, though for some people that just means piling on more food to cover up the open space.

I have mine on top of my refrigerator and could go way bigger than its 1000 watts.
It was the best option for my kitchen.
