You have to take the sacrificial lamb theory into account; this guy will take the fall (or some other person) and then the Senate can say that they didn't rubberstamp everyone....

I'm not sure the epic entertainment value (and chances of nuclear holocaust) is worth it, but I'm kind of hoping before the clown car empties, Majorie Taylor Greene gets appointed our representative to the UN.
