Found a 17 inch Macbook Pro
#11
I have one, but it exhibited the Nvidia graphics issue and thus has been sidelined. I loved the graphics it put out, and the screen size quickly became even more loved. Replacing the battery, if I remember correctly, wasn’t that difficult. It will take a maximum of 16GB RAM and putting an SSD in it made it feel like a new machine.

I still miss it, even though it was a heavy beast to carry.

Edit: spelling error

according to everymac, there was no 2.4ghz macbookpro4,1 17in model - the 2.4ghz 17" was a 3,1 - are you sure it's not a 15"?

max 6gb ram for either model

it's probably so big that it looked like a 17 - I recently set up an m1 mba for a friend and at one point I put it on top of my 2015 11" mba - they are almost exactly the same size - the 13 is only slightly bigger
