Sequoia is intrusive...
#1
I updated my M1 Mini from Big Sur to Sequoia a couple of days ago, and jeepers, it wants to do things for me. Sad

This "tiling" thing where windows go full screen when you move them around was driving me nuts until I figured out how to turn that off.

Does it do anything else creepy that needs nuking?

I DO NOT understand the current mania for window management. I’ve never had problems managing windows on the Mac. I feel like this is a thing brought to our platform by former Windows users.

As long as I can place a window where I want and keep it there as long as I want, I'm happy.

That's the extent of windows management I want or need.

There are a plethora of third-party windows management apps, and in Apple's pursuit of giving is features we didn't know we needed, they've offered their take.

But the most egregious of invasive behavior, for me, is the changing of preferences, and in particular Location Services, when updating to a new iOS.

Sometimes it's because of a new product or service, sometimes I have no idea why.

But it's the first thing I check after an X.0 update.

Former Windows users whine about window management all the time. This was to appease them. And shut them up.

Sequoia is the worse, most PITA Mac OS in the last 20+ years. I wish I had never installed it
