Will you be purchasing a new iPhone before the Tariffs kick in?

I just ordered a new iPhone 16 Pro... not that I need it as I'm perfectly happy with my 13 Pro but if the shit-hits-the-fan I can't spend $2k or more on a replacement down the road.

With the facts being that %80 of all iPhone production happens in China and there is NO WAY that is changing any time soon buying a new phone now seems to be a prudent hedge to me.

Approximately %20 of iPhone production takes place in India, but if you really look at the production system that Apple has built in China you can see that there is no easy, quick, simple, cheap way for them to move the bulk of that production anyplace else.

The United States is gonna fold like a cheap suit to China. There’s no way they’re going to allow the economy to collapse completely. Right now we’re even begging for China to talk to us.

No.

I really, really don't want a 'Phone bigger than my 12m, so I won't be getting another till it's in death throes.

But I did get an S10 Watch, though I think it will be available without a tariff increase for awhile yet.

Just did. iPhone 16e replaced an iPhone 7+.

After 3000 days of service, a well-earned retirement.

My iPhone 7 is still going strong, and I will keep it going as long as possible. I prefer Touch ID.

Wasn't planning to until yesterday when my daughter dropped her iPhone 11 and destroyed the screen. glass is shattered, some areas no longer respond to touch and the right half is black.

Settled on an iPhone 16 Pro in white. She really liked the purple they had for the iPhone 11 but hates all the new shades in the 15 and 16 lineups, so settled for white.
