Well, it's official. I mean, not "Aqualung" style, and I love my wife of 25 years, but...

Dropped my daughter off at her prom Saturday night, and my gaze was instantly and magnetically attracted to all of her 18 and 19 year old classmates in their rather low cut dresses. There's a good chance I sprained at least one eyeball trying to politely avert my eyes and failing. Repeatedly.

And I can remember some of these young ladies as sweet little girls when my wife was their Girl Scout leader.

So, do I need to say a bunch of Our Fathers ? Or am I just still a testosterone card carrying male ?

I work at an university, so there are many around to tempt the eye. It helps that as a supervisor of student employeess, I just have to remind myself of the consequences of stepping over the line. But sometimes you just have to enjoy the view.

Not so long ago (think 50-150 years and back), it was pretty "normal" for "mature" men to court and marry girls in their late teens/20s. Call me crazy, but it's true.
