Our pre-xmas acomdata rebate came just in time for July 4th! [missed MLK day, prez day, val's day, pat's day, easter, passover, cinco day, mom's day, dad's day, grad day, and probably a few others...] but it made it!

yep, CUSA, but it was direct acomdata rebate thingy. called on Fry's BF rebate (and CUSA's pre-xmas) in Feb, and gal from company actually looked into them and called back twice... was reasonably close on first one, and said 2nd one would be another two to three weeks, and checked to make sure it was in proper queue; should had it by pat's day... only missed by this [<-- -->] much...

Acomdata has to be the worst at filling rebates. I had an external CD-RW that took at least six months, the old dealmac group turned up so much heat on them that their customer no-service rep wound up posting a request promising that they'd pay up (and they eventually did).

was familiar (per WC above) w/ slow-pay, so six and half months wasn't shocking, ...or forgotten about. maytag and two logitechs also came end of week, after much shorter turn-around times.
