I'm finishing up my website in Dreamweaver hopefully soon... I'm looking at some web hosts but I'd like some feedback if possible.
The site will be host to a fair amount of video and image content, but shouldn't account for more than 1GB of space, and that would be pushing it. The site will be for a promotion of video and animation services, so I expect to be directly alot of people there to watch videos and such.
I did a search through findmyhosting.com and inmotion hosting appears to be a quality hoster. $5 a month, good downtime record, etc.
Thoughts/opinions/suggestions?

A Small Orange
http://www.asmallorange.com is what I use (and what others have recommended in the past). They have some sort of "extreme" plan which has more room and download limits.

hostgator.com has been great for me for the past 4 years. they have a 6.95/month plan that is a good value for starting out. great service, too.

http://www.pair.com has been a good value and completely reliable for me for many years.

One more to add to the mix. HostPC is having a sale until the end of February. I have had one of my sites hosted with them for a couple of years and have no complaints. You'll see their regular prices listed on this page
http://hostpc.com/, but if you click on the Cabin Fever Sale splash on that page, it will take you to the specifics of their sale; a lower price on their Budget Plan or double the space and BW on their larger plans.

FWIW, 5 sites at my host, one of them for nearly 10 years
they are great about updates -- you get and email 2 days before it happens and they let you know when and how long -- and its usually between 4 am and 5 am EST for 1 hour...

What control panel do you need?
