I just threw mine in the garbage. Lame-a$$ iPhone...get me my $25 Kyocera!

:0)

Seriously, I think they will have some awesome secondary models by Christmas or at least by next Macworld (AppleWorld?)

I don't think apple has ever been about throwing the most features possible in their products. Hopefully it does what people want it to, better than other phones. At least that would make it consistent with the whole iPod thing. kj.

I actually want fewer features on my cell phone. I just want it to be easier to use and not trapped in Cingular's greedy hands. I keep modifying my phone's menus to remove game demos and the Cingular Store and they keep putting it all back. I DON'T WANT TO BUY GAMES, RINGTONES, SCREENSAVERS, PICTURES. I want to make calls, read email, listen to voicemail, and control my robotic sharks with laser shooting out of their eyes....Is that so much to ask for?!?

Great satire fools many people who read it. The Onion: America's finest news source:

While you're there, don't miss the Radical Islamic Extremists Snowboard Into U.S. Embassy story - it's chilling!

But the three phones are real.

I think the lack of 3G broadband speed is a mistake. Of course, it's a mistake Apple can fix with the switch of a single chip. I wish they'd offer an optional highspeed version at launch.

Had you attended MWSF and observed the reaction of the crowds you would no the answer to the question is a resounding no. It is all about marketing and as Steve J has proved many times in the past he has some talent in that arena. I for one will be holding onto my Apple stock in anticipation of the updraft when the iPhone hits the market. As Steve said he only wants 1% of the market the first year and I would not be surprised to see that easily surpassed.
