OK, I got an email confirmation from mwave for 2.
Just waiting on SW. That may take until Monday.

I got an automated e-mail reply from mwave, so at least it went that far through their system.

I don't think anyone makes a 10,000 rpm 2.5" laptop drive. And if they did, I don't exactly think it could be buss-powered.

Just waiting on SW. That may take until Monday. Hmmmm...I got my email confirmation right away from SW, but figured I'd cover myself and ordered one from MWave. Still no confirmation from them. UPDATE: Still no email, but checking on the website shows this: ![]()

looooong gone now

D@mn, I step away from this place for a couple of days and I miss a "RUN YOU FOOLS" cross bred with a "USB Scale" type event.
Never got the USB Scale, and looks like now I won't be getting one of these either (it's been picked clean off the Internet). This thing is like crack around here...(^_^)

The drive costs more by itself... take out of case and built your own On-The-Go with kit.
![]() [quote Zoidberg]If I don't get it, no big loss. I'd rather the OWC on-the-go drive any day. But it was too good a possibility to pass up. FWIW, my order still says "pending review".

Carnos, you can find the USB scale on ebay these days for $10 plus ship...
As for this drive, it still seems to be available here: Edit: ugh, OOS ... OK, not quite as good a price, but still not bad, and lots in stock: https://usm.channelonline.com/rtech/stor...M001678725 |
