Does Firefox ever get stupid slow on you?
#1
Like right now, it look almost a whole minute to open up the 'About Firfox' window to see that I am running V 2.0.0.3, and for that time I couldn't do anything, nothing was responding within Firefox.

Safari never got this slow, I don't know why this is happening.

Today I had two "connection timed out." Normally I find Firefox to be pretty quick.

Yes, but a force quit and reopen usually solves it. If not, then a restart definitely does. It happens about once a week.

Yes but that's because I have five windows open with about ten tabs each.

its either too many windows or a plugin or two that is slowing you down.

I definitely notice the difference if I leave the firebug extension active.

Isn't there a cache that can be cleared? I've never had to do it, but it seems like I remember somebody mentioning it before.

Under preference in Fox you can set cache size and clear the cache. Preferences is under "Firefox" pulled down and I think you need to click Advanced but there are only four choices so not to worry.

No.
But, I have done a google search, clicked on a link on the search result and not been able to go back to the google search result.
The back button isn't greyed out, it just won't go back.
Keyboard - back won't, either.

This is something new. Last couple weeks.
Time to get a newer version, anyway.

I have various issues with it. Arrow buttons on my kb SOMETIMES work for scrolling, but usually don't. PITA. Tabbed browsing sometimes work, sometimes doesn't. PITA. I have about had it with FF. Ugly windows port look doesn't help. Even tried installing Aqua FF or whatever to make it look like X and it wouldn't install on 1.5.0.11. Bizarro.
