i know this, if u want to really utilize many of the new features in this versionof fcp suite-particulary color-then i'm going to have to step up and pony up for a beefier mac with a faster garphics card.

I found it odd too but I suspect Apple withheld DVD SP 5 for Leopard reasons (HDCP). Once Leopard ships I wouldn't be surprised to see DVD SP 5 show up w/ a free upgrade for FCPS 6 users. OTOH I'm wondering if Live Type is on it's death bed.

There were all kinds of rumors about the ability to have multiple audio layers for several different menus...essentially keeping the same audio track across all menus. This is something that has been impossible in the past. Other rumors stated BlueRay support and that would hint at the inclusion of BR burners in the next MacPros.
