Why would one need to replace the battery? Once it's dead, you recycle the MBA and buy a new one.

dot. That's not the issue. You can't go on a road trip with a single 3hr battery. You need a spare and you need to be able to swap it out ASAP, not bring it in to an Apple Store. That's crazy.

there's no way someone would buy a laptop if they couldn't replace the battery. that's just silly. I will miss ethernet though.
