I think everyone's aware that they need to keep the drumbeat going or Blago really will try to settle back into business as usual. comfortable in his usual lack of awareness that everyone despises him and believing that his approval rating of "8" is actually 8 out of 10, a solid "B".
We also have an empty senate seat for the time being, and Blago must not be allowed to make an appointment (not that that appointee would ever sit, but it could deadlock the position for a long time).

Know something about Blago..he's a whacko. Don't expect him to make this easy. If he does, excellent. The wife is piece of work too..I'm surprised she hasn't been implicated here, she was in on phone calls..conference calls regarding the trade off of a job for her and commenting in the background on a number of the issues in queston here. WTF? It seems like something snapped with these folks and down the tubes they went. The wife's main fixer/contact in her real estate biz was Reszcchko.

Regular stuff that most folks see and understand doesn't register with this guy. Many think he's delusional, I think he's delusional, megalomanic, desperate, greedy, psychopathic, sociopathic...there's more but I'd probably get slammed with some racist comments..it's not racist..cultural, seriously. Pat Quinn, the lieutenant Guv of Ill said today, when asked if he was in touch with Blag recently, that he hadn't had any contact with BLago in over a YEAR! Zero conversations. When pressed on this he said that the Blago is extremely insulated and doesn't interact with very many people in the government. This a Governor and he hasn't spoken to the lieutenant guv in over a year? Something seriously wrong here.

Pat Quinn is a great and upstanding guy, he used to do my property tax appeals and before that served on the Cook County Board of Prop Tax Appeals..he has always been an advocate for the people. Get him in there right now because he's what we need at this point..smart, honest and his senses of what a Government should be is spot on...The State Leg should just DUMP THIS GUY, right now..why wait for his resignation?

There is an enormous difference between a personal peccadillo like Spitzer's and the rank corruption and bad governance of Blagojevich. Not that the Republicans would agree, after dragging the nation through the laughable impeachment proceedings of Bill Clinton.
