Not sure how that price compares--we just got the electric version of the Sport Duet last Thanksgiving from Best Buy for about $1200 installed.

Tuqqer The deal you posted is for for the smaller size washer (3.3cu ft vs 3.6) and an electric dryer, (always less $ than gas) and does not include the pedestals.

Note that installation and haul away for the gas dryer are not included in the Costco price.

What does modelamac think of the reliability of this model?

What does the energy label say it will cost to run these new fangled appliances? I would
hope they save lots and lots of money or it's going to take a long time to recoup the extra
cost. We paid $400 for our last washer 12 years ago and we don't own a dryer.
