Been using dot mac since the very beginning, but mobieme makes loading the old iDisk seem fast.
On my Macbook core duo it is loading slower than eWorld on a 14.4 dialup connection with a bad line.
I suppose they are working out kinks, but seems they either rushed the new iphone out or somebody dropped the ball on having MobileMe ready for launch.
Seems some here have had better luck, I hope they iron it all out sooner rather than later.

That's because everyone is on it (or trying to access it) "to see what it's about". Per my earlier post, I think Apple really should have done this rollout in phases (MobileMe, iTunes 7.7, iPhone 2.0 upgrade for current iPhones, iPhone 3G sale).

Well at least they named it something cool.

Based on comments so far, sounds like it ought to be renamed MobileMeh.

Oh bother. I think Apple rolled this out rather poorly.

Would be nice if Back to my Mac (did I get that right?) was working. I haven't been able to access my home computer for a couple of days. I hope it's not one of those features that they just "forget" about...

And it's back down again. I think I'll just forget about this for awhile.

It's really frustrating - and the lack of communication, what timeframes to expect, have left a seriously sour taste for Apple services in general. It also doesn't indicate that MobileMe will handle an influx of new users from the iPhone/PC space very well.
