David Duchovny, Tea Leoni Confirm Split
The couple has been separated for a while now

It appears David Duchovny's love life off screen is also going through some trouble.

The "Californication" star and his wife, actress Tea Leoni, have confirmed speculation that they've been separated for some time, report celebrity news sources.

"In light of continuous speculation over the lives and marriage of Tea Leoni and David Duchovny, the couple has confirmed that they have in fact been separated for several months," the statement released Wednesday says. "The couple had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children."

The couple has been married since 1997. They have two children: daughter Madelaine, 9, and son Kyd, 6.

Duchovny, 48, voluntarily entered a rehab facility in August to be treated for sex addiction. He has since been released for successfully finishing treatment.

On Showtime's "Californication," Duchovny plays the troubled Hank Moody, a role for which he won a Golden Globe.

So how do you think they rehab sex addicts? Is it "Just say NO!" or are there car batteries and electrodes involved?

Yikes! You might want to mention (for those that don't know) that the site is very crude and not safe to open at work/around kids.

LOL. A friend of mine who lives with an ex-BF is sometimes asked how that works. She usually says it's like marriage: no sex, more laundry.

Um, what was crude on it? I've never had anything crude come up on that site.

I guess Billy Bob COULD be considered NSFW - sorry, hadn't thought about that.

Sad but often true.
