My favorite part:
One of the pictures was taken three years ago and sent to the teen's then-boyfriend. The other was snapped in June. The lawsuits allege that the girls believed they had deleted the photos, but accidentally sent them to members of the football team.
King says he wants the disciplinary action expunged from the girls' school records, the suspensions waved and an apology issued by the school.
Hilarious. The irony of it all is of course that our society puts these nubile girls in tiny, tight outfits and has them dance suggestively in front of large crowds, then feigns shock when the yewts take that concept and run with it.

We live in an incredibly hypocritical society as far as sex and nudity are concerned. For example, women can outfits like these (WARNING: potential NSFW): http://89.238.137.226/flash/f-Tiny-Bikini-281.jpg
... with tiny strips of fabric which barely cover small parts of their anatomy, which is OK, but as soon as you see anything more, it's unacceptable.

kids do stupid things sometimes
a year seems harsh - that's usually a punishment meted out to a trouble-maker
not enough facts there in that story (like usual) .
most people don't struggle with the concept of nubile young girls and boys in adulthood nor see irony in human sexuality and sensuality

And the younger generation, via the magic of the internet, has probably seen the most hardcore imagineable stuff prior to even reaching their teens. We need to let the germans come in and run our sex education classes. Not noted for their excessive sensuality, but the matter-of-factness part they got right (with the poles, danes, dutch, and japanese being on a similar wavelength).

So, one of the girls had to be 14 or 15 when the first nude photo was sent, yet the parents are upset with the SCHOOL?!?!? And they also want an apology? And they actually believe their daughters' stories that the photos were sent "accidentally"? Show of hands, who's ever tried deleting a photo on their phone and accidentally sent it to someone?
