With golf shoes on, how 'bout it?

I think hockey skates would be more appropriate. Gotta stop him from making baby asshats, lest the cycle will continue.
I prefer figure skates. Between the pick and a few good slices, that should take care of business.

Golf shoes would be good for walking over him after he is down....

Golf shoes are useless since the advent of soft spikes - better to use cleats

Good reason to find a pair of "old-school" golf shoes, there are plenty around.

So how does this stuff happen? Why does nobody stand up to these folks? Whose responsibility would doing so be- the board of directors?
Why is there such a disincentive on a board's part to set limits?

Boards of Directors are generally made up of influential people from other companies, namely CEOs and other muckety-mucks who don't want their pay packages effed wit' when their turn for review pops up in the rotation.

Thanks. I have little insight into the corporate world (beyond the glimpses I get of hospital administrators trying to emulate the big kids) but what I have seen in the 'agency' world is that the folks chosen for the boards are typically spread very thin and mostly wondering how to get off of a board or two, and barely have time to arrive at any meetings prepared enough to do anything but just go along with what's asked of them.
How did I do?

What you described BL is a big disincentive to looking closely at management proposals. Add the "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" incentive, and CEO and top management salaries have exploded over the last decade or two in the US, especially compared to other pay rates.

He withdrew the request, should we ask 'fil to reconsider and approve those soft spikes?
