I agree! What's wrong with those people, are they goofballs on drugs?

There are a couple of people here with no cognitive abilities and even less ability to read with comprehension. I do not suffer fools gladly and I have had it with pretending otherwise. If you cannot understand basic logic I will be mean about it. Get over it.

What's Bush's popularity rating right now? -2?

Sounds like he's got lots of supporters. Lots. Yeah, there you go.

A Pew Research Center for the People and the Press poll released yesterday found that 11 percent of people think that W. will eventually be judged an "outstanding" or "above average" president.

http://people-press.org/report/478/bush-...ic-opinion

Quote from the summary:
"As his second term ends, only 13% say Bush has made progress toward solving the major issues facing the country; 37% say he has made those problems worse and 34% say he has tried but failed in his efforts."

DENNIS... "I don't have a superior attitude. I just get frustrated when it is OBVIOUS that Bush is a terrible president and that conservatives have ruined the economy and Constitution and that conservatives posting on the internet are a-holes and dumb-a-s and that Sarah Palin is not qualified to be VP and on and on. It is obvious."

Lets look at the dictionary...Obvious
"easily perceived or understood; clear, self-evident, or apparent"

I'd say it's only obvious to a simple mind that won't delve deeper into all the ramifications and nuances. You only want to explore the surface and stop at what is obvious to you. Some of choose see the bigger picture. I think Bush will be vindicated by history unless the progressives start re-writing history to suit their agenda.

While you have the dictionary out, look up "obtuse".

Stevie and Dennis, What makes you think you are always right? Why do you persist in name calling and personal attacks? Is your life so bleak and unfulfilled that your only happiness is found in putting others down? It never changes. If anyone even tosses out an idea that you don't agree with, your normal come back is not discussion, but disrespectful vengeful non sequiturs.

Probably because they are as uninvested in this message board as you are. For $tevie it is one among several places to offset an often unstimulating workday with a bit of sparring, and for Dennis S it's just a dumping ground, a place to let off some steam, to hell with whether it detracts from the quality of the discourse. And of course for you it's a place to fuel discord and see if you can have a nice chuckle and pat yourself on the back as it degenerates into a much less colorful version of the Itchy and Scratchy show. Does it bother you that you've been unable to leave this little internet backwater smoldering in ashes?
