Yes, I put it off for a long time. Cramming it in end-of-year. No morning slots were available, leaving me hungry tomorrow morning and afternoon. On the other hand, when it's done I'll have less of the day to feel crappy.

Have someone drive you home and have the doc give you a short (small amount) prescription for pain pills incase you need them.
I still have all of mind, but I have been a driver a few times!

Yes, stalker X is correct. My daughter had all four of hers extracted today. They told us when she had her braces put on that she had no room for them and they would have to go before she went to college.
The odd thing, at least from when I had mine out many years ago, is that they want you to eat as soon as you get home and there are no restrictions on what you can eat. She has several prescriptions and has been pretty groggy since she had it done this morning, probably from the pain killers, but other than that, no major reactions.
Definitely get someone to drive you home and good luck with it.

Oh, yeah, I have the meds already, the suggesstion of tea bags as necessary and of course driver.
Grateful, M>B>, you pretty much would know by your early-mid twenties if there's gonna be a problem. After that it's just about procrastinating waiting until the time is right.

Here's wishing you an unconscious experience. I've still got mine, but two never really appeared. Please, no details, thanks.

I had 2 of mine out the Friday & Saturday before Christmas.
No problems, only used local (Novocaine). Not even any pain to speak of, so I didn't use my 'scrips.
Got lucky on the bottom one, it was partially gone, partially filling. One surgeon thought he would have to cut gum & drill it out. The one who did it just used a "lifter" to yank it.
It's weird having these big holes in my gums.
