Thank heavens, there's been a dearth of Dell-related postings here recently!

Can the 10" run Leopard? I'm just wondering.

Hmmmm. Of course it's too late now, but I was kind of wishing I'd gotten one of the netbooks to take on my trip. Maybe next time - if there is a next time.

The 10v (Bear) Mini has the Intel 950 chipset. Should be able to run OS X.
The Mini 10 has the Intel 500 chipset. OS X will not run on it. Comparison between the 10 models here: http://www.dell.com/us/en/home/notebooks...nspiron-10&s=dhs&cs=19&ref=lthp

Yes, the 10v can definitely run OS X, but to upgrade the RAM from the stock 1GB to 2GB requires almost disassembling the whole computer.

I previously posted a link to videos of disassembly to install RAM in a 10v here, the videos are here: http://mydellmini.com/forum/dell-mini-10...video.html. The three videos run a bit over 25 minutes.
