I just searched and downloaded the converter for Office X from this page:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...A8ACEEE520&displaylang=en

Be sure that you do not have the "test drive" of Office 2004 installed or it will try and use that rather than Office X. Once I removed the 2004 test drive, the converter worked fine with Office X.
