I hope not either! Actually, it was an "available space" issue. My external drive has a partition for the SuperDuper backup, and another large partition for storage. When Migration Assistant looked at the external drive, it was looking at both partitions, and there's not enough room on the internal to bring all that over. All I had to do is uncheck the storage partition from the list and magically the "transfer" button was available to me.
This is the first time I've used Migration Assistant. Can you tell?
