SL on Hackintosh
#4
My experince with my Frakkintosh is that the GigaByte main boards are the easiest to work with as far as getting various pieces of the hack to work right. I've got an EP45-UD3R that has everything working with 10.5.8, and has also worked well in Sno Leo, which I don't want or need right now. I have deep sleep, ethernet, multiple SATA hard drives and DVD drives, etc. Quick and smooth.

I'm not saying it was easy, but there are really good guides for doing this at efixusers.com and at insanelymac.com. And if you want to try it out, you can always post here for a few tips and pointers too, which might be easier than plowing through the ton of stuff at insanelymac; I think the stuff at efixusers is easier to get at.
