I recently sold a McIntosh HiFi Tuner, the guy didn't want anything touching the glass. It was
being shipped directly to the factory for a tune up. That was tough trying figure out a way
ship it so that it wouldn't slide forward yet not touch the glass. I managed to do it but it wasn't
easy. I don't normally take pictures of our items during packaging but the guy was being such
a bu!! about all these details yet I had to file a non-paying bidder notice on him to get him to
pay, I so if someone gives us a lot grief during the transaction we now photograph the process.
I have about 16 photos of packaging process. There was a very narrow aluminum bar on each
corner that was just enough to make a small styrofoam corner block to slide in place. I guess
it made it okay, never got feedback, an email or any correspondence out of the guy, needless to
say he's been blocked.
