I had mine out last year. I used to get colds all the time. My insurance would never pay for it. Finally went to E,N&T Doctor, told him my symptoms and he said "lets get those out next friday". He pushed it through the insurance and removed them. 4 hours in the hospital, then home for recovery. He said they were worst he had ever seen.

It has cut my flu/colds in half. Best thing I have done for myself since my Lasik.
