all of the fully support SL
I get A LOT of laptops and own them all for a short time.
I had a 1.8ghz w/ 64gb SSD - it was ok... not very speedy, but an absolute joy for its light weight and mobility.
Unless you really value light weight and mobility, I don't think you'd want one.
I'm working on a 1.6 w/ 80GB hard drive - these non SSD drives in the MBA are HORRIBLE. So damned slow.
I suspect the latest top o the line would be a really nice machine.
Small HD is a problem for me. The non SSD drives are an absolute deal breaker for me. 2GB max is also a problem for me. They don't seem very robust - there is a disproportional representation of banged up and dead ones on ebay.
Forget bang for buck and all of that - if this very narrow set of specs is what you want, then get it. NO netbook comes close to these things.
HOWEVER... almost forgot - the EXTREMELY limited expansion drives me nuts. There is only ONE port. No daisy chaining... to me, this was my biggest grumble. I was always trying to figure out how to do what I wanted to do... but that's ust me. Very few people mess around with computers as much as I do.
