I just got mine in and they are not original nor authentic Apple headphones. The control bar/mic only goes to voice control no matter if you click once, twice or three times. The bar is also smaller as is the mic input hole. Also there's no grey colored divot in the center of the bar.
Unless Apple radically changed the headphones from what I received with my iPhone 3GS, and mine are defective, these are definitely bad copies.
I'm going to ask for a refund and see what happens. Worse comes to worst I'll challenge the charge with AMEX.
EDIT: Well it appears they may be the original version of the iPhone headphone. What is misleading is that they put "3GS" in the product description. The control bar does not work properly with the 3GS.
