Ugh, had my car stolen

Had my '66 bug stolen from the front of my apartment in the mid ninties. Three weeks later someone called and asked if I owned it. It had been parked in front of their house for three weeks. The full tank of gas was emptied and a month later the engine blew. It was in great, original condition. First thing I did was to scrub down the interior and get one of those steering wheel locks.
