Downloading now. My Mother's Aunt and Uncle (both in the Norwegian Underground) escaped after being captured by the Germans. They took an open 6 or 7 meter fishing boat from the western coast of Norway to England as they would have been executed if they were caught. Her Uncle was 15 at the time. When they arrived in England, he joined the RAF and was sent to Little Norway in Canada. He was trained as a Spitfire pilot. Fortunately (or unfortunately) for him, the war ended before he was old enough to be sent off to fight. My Grandmother (their sister) always teased her brother about his driving habits until someone reminded her that he learned to fly before learning how to drive a car. One of my other Uncle's played a major role in the raid on Telemark and was one of the most decorated civilian war heroes in Norway. Unfortunately, I don't think that they or their children have recorded their tales.
