OWC: *New iMac models do not have universal manufacturer compatibility...really?

I can't really remember about the hard drives, but the optical drives, the ram, the video cards etc... at one stage these were all a problem.

I'm kind of bummed that the new MacBook Pros are so poorly specced i.e. no USB 3, No eSATA, no Express card slots, etc. etc. and no quad cores!

Also they are really getting expensive.
