Wow. I'm pretty sure my mayhem was limited to seeing what M-80s could do to various objects.
I still remember, though, the group of kids who were probably 3-4 years older than me who decided to hammer shut the pipe bomb they were trying to make.
The kid who was holding the thing lost both forearms, and I remember hearing about the aftermath from a girl in my class who lived across the street from them - she described seeing a kid running out of the garage with dangling intestines.
Fast forward around 5 years, and I still have memories of seeing them one winter - the guy who lost both forearms was holding firecrackers in his claws and letting his buddies light them off, while he held on to them.
