from the TMI incident it seems it travels akin to pollen and settles similarly.
it was also my understanding iodine pills are only good for protecting the thyroid from Caesium.
I'd be more concerned about the animal and plant life in the ocean downwind of the generators where the radiation plumes are being blown "safely out to sea".
And not just because people might eventually be eating it via the food chain.
