An identical situation for Yemen would mean Yemenis have hindered our intelligence investigation and were so untrustworthy that the US therefore decided to do a raid leaving them completely in the dark.
Is that what you're suggesting for Yemen? What leads you to suggest that the Yemeni gov't should be kept in the dark?
As I said before, none of us knows what missions our gov't might or might not try. With compelling evidence as to the whereabouts of the person now considered to be Qaeda's number one, why would we not arrest him? The "how" would be highly circumstantial and I don't see the value of the speculation.
