I think the difference is in the being outnumbered department (i'm not saying poor, innocent, etc.). It makes one feel like you are scrambling for your life, and at least my responses reflect that feeling.

And I can't speak for everyone, but when i point out things I believe people do wrong, my internal context is that I sincerely believe we are all fatally flawed, so to me it doesn't seem insulting. I also realize it doesn't feel that way for others, so I apologize for that. But, I'll be the first to say I'm a really flawed person, and I'm ok with that, but not everyone feels that way. But at the bear minimum, it'd be nice if people could reduce the outright namecalling and insults. Babysteps? kj.
