Anecdotal:
As a city kid visiting relatives still working and living the old family farm, my first taste of raw milk was when uncle directed the stream direct from the teat into my mouth. Not being use to warm milk I immediately spit it up. He was hugely disappointed that I didn't appreciate what they had. I'd become so acclimated to processed milk that even cold whole milk direct from free range cows was not and never would be to my taste.
That was so many decades ago that I can't imagine where the current appeal to consume raw milk or raw milk products stems from.
