Um, I wrote the quote of me that you included. Again, I'm obviously familiar with the apocalyptic passages, but I've never heard the argument that they are responsible for Jesus' lack of political and economic focus. And in fact, if the apocalypse was coming that soon, I don't see much reason for most of what he said. Further, you don't believe (as you've said) that we have any real idea what Jesus did or said (or even that he existed at all), so I don't see a point in discussing it. At any rate, alternative interpretations are really easy to come by if you expand your search beyond "badbible.com", so if you want to look at it from both sides, just do it. But I feel like all my responses do is provide you with something to be hostile toward. kj.
