What is the evidence that trickle down economics actually works?

There are a number of qualified pension plans that allow one to opt out of SS. The ones I am aware of are for teachers or public employees. Postal Service had one, but ended it for new employees a number of years ago.
It has to be a plan, though. Can't just declare yourself a Libertarian and spend it on hookers and blow.
