Which is the polite way of saying the money isn't there. They take real money and put in place a piece of paper. This is what happens when you let the fox watch the hen house.

Are you expecting the gov't to collapse? Because that's what it would take for those securities to not be repaid. And if that happens, nobody will be getting any social security anyway. So thankfully your buddy W didn't get his way when he tried to put the trust fund into the stock market.
