Why is this Cloud storage thingy so important?

That's you.

I bet there are a *lot* more people out there that will use iCloud than not. I've got only 6G left on my 80G iPod, 2G left on my 64G iPads, and 1G left on my 32G iPhone. You don't have a lot of stuff on there.

I can't have all my stuff on all my devices, and I have to set up each up differently. And it's a little tedious if I want the same things on all of them.

Cloud storage is becoming more and more important to a lot of people who don't want to be tied to one place, one computer, or several computers.

The cool thing is we Rebels, Pirates, and Crazy Ones don't have to move forward. We don't have to go the Cloud, we can just stay status quo, and let Stevie do what he's always wanted to do- make computing something for the masses, not just for the geeks.

But those unwashed masses will never be as cool as us.

It doesn't sound like 5Gb's will save you, it might help though ;-)

"Users also can perform data backups through iCloud. Apple provides up to 5GB of storage capacity
free of charge to users iCloud. This capacity is much greater than other cloud-based storage which
usually provides a capacity of 2GB."
