I've had an Android MyTouch for two years. Its my only phone and is on 24/7. Battery life is still great, all the apps I wanted were free (availability of ShaperWriter keyboard is a deal breaker for me), and my monthly bill is around $50/month cheaper than a comparable iPhone plan. The voice recognition and GPS guide is the one I rely on the most and its stellar.
The bad: since its two years old its slower than the current models and sometimes its inconsistent with the newer apps, like occasionally Car Mode is glacier and if I push the button an extra time or two it'll crash and it takes several minutes to reboot. Once or twice it shut itself off while in my pocket and I missed several calls. I've had to be careful about running apps to keep the battery from draining quickly.
So now I'm ready to upgrade and I'm trying to decide if its a good time to switch to an iPhone, especially since I'm grandfathered in with my plan, and AT&T is buying T-Mobile. That said, the phone is still serving all my needs.
