My son needs all the thoughts and prayers he can get
I'm in with him and dozing off for a few minutes at a time between the beeps,
dings and alarms. Basically they have at least 1 person with him at all times sometimes
there's been as many 7 or 8 in here working with him. This a big place and
from what heard he getting priority over just about everyone right now.
Many of levels are slowing getting into the good range. They removed
an earlier ballon pump from his leg and we had be out a couple hours.
He's getting about as much quality care from staff members as anything
I've ever seen. He's kidneys are working fine, producing pleny of urine.
He is restrained but they are sudating him enough to where doesn't try
pull anything out. I think the ventilator is bothering more than anything
His temp. is down to 101.4, O2 running between 95 and 99%.

It's tough watching him lay there like that but we're talking to him a lot
don't know if can hear us or not but I think he can because I asked a
question and he squeezed my hand like he was trying answer me.
I'll keep everyone updated as much as I can. The main attending nurse
told us they've seen other patience like him that are fine one day and in
almost the same condition as him, they've sent several to Duke just
knowing that they need a heart transplant and today are doing fine
with the heart they were born with. I'll keep y'all updated as I can but
they told he's definitely not out of the woods yet.
