Cell phone options for college-bound son

GGD,rgG-thanks for your advice and input. As I understand it if, at some point in the future, it should appear that he needs to move to the unlimited Page Plus plan that wouldn't be difficult to do. I will check into T-Mobile. I will have to check the T-Mobile coverage area. I know that Verizon would have coverage both at college (University of Oklahoma) and here in NW Iowa.
