I was asked to leave the room for a while so I didn't get to the update. Jesse's has had some real hurdles this
afternoon, his fever went over 104, his BP went dangerously low, his heart rate went to 160, his heart was out of
normal rhythm and O2 level went to 86.
He's stabilized currently after a cooling blanket and packed him in ice and gave him something to temporarily
paralyze him because of the shaking.
Right now their putting new line of some sort that is suppose to give them more accurate numbers and allow
another Med to be put something automatically as it computes his vitals. He currently has 14 different meds going into
him. I wish I had better news but it is what it is.
I've got a good feeling in my gut that the fever break may have zapped this mystery infection he has. I'm just
guessing so bare with me.
They actually had 3 of their top Drs. here just for him alone today and he has 2 nurses dedicated just
to him 24 hours a day, he receiving excellent care. They have brought it about possibly changing from
the Impella brand heart to something else tomorrow but they're going to monitor his vitals tonight and make
that decision in the morning.
