Verizon trying anything to kill Grandfathered data plans
#13
Verizon is being very stupid. First, they kill unlimited data and replace it was tiered data. Second, they decide to start charging for data to some services, which they aren't offering for free on top of the monthly fees. Third, they decide to have the low end start at $30 for 2GB compared to AT&T's $15 for 200MB and alienate the low end users. Fourth, they try their hardest to get rid of unlimited data which they said would be grandfathered in. Fifth, no data share plans yet.

approximately $80 (assuming all lines get smartphones) is sounding good to go to Sprint and get unlimited data on 4 phones and an extra 1100 minutes a month (although net minute gain would be less, because of all the Verizon-to-Verizon calling).
