Food on a Stick?

A stick must be cheaper than a plate.

Well, at the risk of stating the obvious, the idea is that you can walk around and enjoy the sights and the sounds of the fair while savoring your food on a stick.

I ate my first corndog in years at the IL state fair a few weeks ago . . . and observed--
1) For the most part, all of the food was segregated off to one area, similar to the various music festivals I've been to recently-- so there's not really any walking around with your food and observing things, unless you find the other food vendors captivating
2) I would venture to say Americans have evolved considerably in the speed at which they can consume food over the past half-century or so, so anything you can fit on a stick is probably going to be gone before the consumer can get more than 10 feet from the stand.

I think the natural next step in the process is for someone to develop a way to dispense food directly into people's mouths.
