UPS My Choice - never miss a delivery again (maybe, possibly, probably or not)
#4
Hi everyone,

No small package carrier offers all of the benefits included in the "My choice" program as a part of their basic services. None. Most don't offer even just some of the "My choice" services at all. It's wishful thinking to say these benefits in the "My choice" package should be a part of the normal basic services provided by these carriers. Maybe someday. In actuality, UPS, Fedex and similar carriers offer now for free many services that you had to pay for previously, i.e. basic proof of delivery.

Personally, I'd sign up for the "My choice" benefits in a heartbeat if I didn't have the option of having packages delivered to my office. That or I'd be renting a box at a local UPS Store or similar store so I'd have a place that can receive package for me. One of those boxes will definitely cost more than $40 per year. I think of them in the same way I think of Amazon Prime. Nifty benefits for a fair price. As with Amazon Prime, if UPS's "My choice" program is successful, I wouldn't be surprised to see UPS expand it and competitors to offer something similar to it.
